When I walk in to the gym I make sure for the most part I am always on top of it and come with everything I need to have a good workout! The gym is MY time and the time of the day I get to focus on myself. Staying focused on yourself you must be prepared. Here are a few things I always carry in my gym bag!
-Pack of gym, (Yes I do chew sugar free gum when I workout!) I like to split the gum in half so I’m not always chewing full pieces. (I know its just a strange thing I do) HAHA
-WATER or a shaker bottle with my BCAA’S in them that I will drink throughout my workout. I do take pre-workout if I need it, but not always!
-Beat wireless headphones. Working out for quite sometime now I have had my fair share of headphones and let me tell you that by far my favorite ones are the beat wireless headphones! I like being able to set my phone down and walking away if I am doing a circuit or plyometric workout. It annoys me to jump around with my phone or I-pod attached to me. My personal opinion. I so always keep an extra pair of my apple headphones just in case my beats are not charged or for some crazy reason I leave them.
-BANDS! Yep, leg day/glute day I incorporate a lot of band work.
-Grips, I use grips if I am doing heavy lifting. Not always will I use them.
-Makeup Wipes- I am a skin FREAK guys! I like to make sure after a workout my face feels fresh and clean so I will pack baby wipes or makeup wipes to clean my face after the gym.
-Deodorant- I’m a normal human and sometimes I do forget to throw deodorant on before the gym! (not hate) So yes, I do carry that in my bag as well!
-Hair Ties/Headband- Girls, you can never have enough of these!
-Tights, Sports Bra, Sports Bra, Tennis Shoes- For the most part I do live in gym clothes! But for some reason if I am not in workout attire I will pack my workout outfit for the gym in my bag.
-Notebook/CKingFit Training Schedule! One thing I hate is going into the gym unorganized and not having a plan! I like to make sure my workouts are planned out and I go into the gym knowing what I will be training. Yes, I do have a workout program I follow as well, I like to bring my workout program with me and a notebook to track how I am feeling during my training, what weight I used for certain exercises and so on! It really helps keep me focused and on track!
